Saunderson-Meyer began his newspaper career on South Africa’s Rand Daily Mail and Sunday Tribune, was a visiting fellow in journalism at Oxford, and worked on several London newspapers, including three years at the Financial Times. He returned to South Africa in 1993, when Jaundiced Eye — winner of the Caldwell Foundation award for ‘fearless commentary’ — was launched. Educated in Zambia, South Africa and Australia, he holds an MSc in Management from Oxford University.
